Sustainability

Sustainable furniture, from design to production

For Mobil Office Furniture, sustainability is about concrete choices: designing and manufacturing in a way that is compatible with the environment around us, without depleting its resources.

Over the years we have adopted a design approach that respects environmental resources, using panels with minimal formaldehyde content and emissions, paints free from heavy metals and wood from certified forests. A commitment that goes hand in hand with our attention to ergonomics and the wellbeing of the people who work with our furniture.

Responsible furniture, compliant with the CAM

The Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM) are a fundamental requirement for anyone working responsibly in the furniture sector and taking part in public tenders according to the principles of Green Public Procurement (GPP). For interior furnishings they set clear parameters: recycled or recyclable materials, sustainable production processes, product durability and repairability, end-of-life management, and reduced emissions and energy consumption. For us, complying with the CAM means turning sustainability into concrete value. Every day we choose certified materials, innovate our production processes and create furniture that combines design, quality and environmental responsibility. This is how we design spaces that respect people and the planet.

Materials and resources

Recycled or recyclable materials, FSC or PEFC certified wood and products accompanied by an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), for a traceable, lower-impact supply chain.
Indoor air quality

Adhesives, lacquers and panels with low volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions, within thresholds that ensure healthy working environments.
Innovation

Innovative and bio-based materials and sustainable production processes that go beyond the required standards.
Circular economy

Durable, repairable products designed to be disassembled and recycled at the end of their life, with full traceability of materials.

Energy

Furniture made with the energy of the sun

We have completed the installation of solar panels across our entire production facility: a concrete step towards environmental sustainability and energy efficiency, which allows us to manufacture our furniture with 100% green energy.

Workplace wellbeing and ergonomics

Sustainability also means taking care of people. That is why we design furniture according to the highest standards of functionality, ergonomics and design, with close attention to safety and comfort regulations, so that every working environment is healthy, pleasant and dynamic.
